Financial Analyst Job Description

About the Role

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, analyzing financial data, developing product pricing strategies, and maintaining financial reports and budgets.

  • Prepare and file tax returns for compliance with local regulations.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights on trends, variances, and business opportunities.
  • Assist in developing and managing product pricing strategies based on market research and financial modeling.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend measures to optimize financial performance.
  • Support the evaluation of cloud service costs and their financial implications for product pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to monitor expenses and ensure financial discipline.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and their cost structures is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and presentation skills to explain financial data effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
