Community Health Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Health Worker.

Job Description:

As a Community Health Worker, you will be responsible for engaging with key participant groups, identifying and addressing their health needs, and providing education and support to promote healthy behaviors.

  • Conduct community sensitization sessions to disseminate accurate information about HPV vaccination and its benefits.
  • Lead and organize community events designed to promote health awareness and vaccination.
  • Refer eligible individuals for HPV vaccination and ensure continued access to services after the campaign concludes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all community interactions, sensitization sessions conducted, vaccination referrals, and follow-up activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A strong connection to and understanding of local social and cultural norms.
  • Basic healthcare knowledge or experience in community health initiatives.
  • Ability to facilitate group discussions and conduct sensitization sessions.
  • Experience in community mobilization, health education, or similar frontline roles.
