Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Expert to join our engineering team in building scalable regtech, fintech and accounting services platform. Your primary responsibility will be designing and developing robust, distributed backend services using NestJS, along with deep integration into PostgreSQL, AI agents, and cloud-native infrastructure on GCP.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop modular, maintainable backend services using NestJS and TypeScript
  • Build and document secure RESTful APIs with best practices in versioning, error handling, and authentication
  • Design and implement event-driven communication with NATS, Redis Pub/Sub, or similar
  • Optimize performance and maintain data integrity with advanced PostgreSQL usage (indexes, views, CTEs, partitioning)
  • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and Terraform
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Expert in NestJS, Node.js, and backend architecture patterns
  • Proficient in event-driven systems, message queues, and service communication
  • Deep experience with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, performance tuning
  • Strong command of Git, Docker, and CI/CD tooling (especially GitHub Actions)
  • Hands-on experience with deploying services on GCP
  • Familiar with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices
