Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our team and help us drive the development of our new SaaS platform.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and frameworks, collaborating with a talented team of technologists who are passionate about innovation.

You will be part of a distributed agile team, responsible for designing, developing, and architecting the core infrastructure of our platform.

Your primary focus will be on writing reliable, secure, performant, and fully automated deployment pipelines using industry-leading tools and technologies.

In addition, you will monitor platform performance, respond to urgent issues, integrate new technologies into our back-end cloud infrastructure, evaluate and adapt emerging technologies where they provide value, and participate in on-call rotations as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and architect the core infrastructure of our SaaS platform
  • Create reliable, secure, performant, and fully automated deployment pipelines
  • Monitor platform performance and respond to urgent issues
  • Integrate new technologies into our back-end cloud infrastructure
  • Evaluate and adapt emerging technologies
  • Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years experience developing software with expertise in cloud providers like AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Experience with writing infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation
  • Proficiency in container technologies like Docker and container orchestration systems like Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration tools like Jenkins
  • Knowledge of configuration management, network request routing, blue/green or canary deployments, and in-service software upgrade
  • Development experience with either Python or Golang
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, WaveFront, Zabbix etc
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting
  • Experience with SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Mongo/Elasticsearch) technologies
  • Familiarity with performance tuning, profiling, and software metrics tools
  • Proven ability to utilize creative thinking to solve complex engineering problems
  • Agile development methodologies experience is a must
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of energy, teamwork, can-do attitude, and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Working knowledge of networks and web concepts
