Key Responsibilities

Core duties include:

  1. Conducting in-depth interviews and documenting detailed observations and notes
  2. Managing fieldwork efficiently to optimize time usage
  3. Facilitating meetings among research team members and junior staff
  4. Providing training sessions for community workers on research and interviewing skills, as well as data collection protocols
  5. Ensuring the successful completion of data collection in assigned areas, including quality control checks
  6. Maintaining liaison with administrative staff regarding logistics for fieldwork
  7. Developing and conducting regular training sessions for community workers
  8. Offering supervision and support to approximately 100 community workers, working closely with their supervisors
  9. Raising awareness among the wider community about child health-related issues, in accordance with project guidelines
  10. Ensuring adherence to field implementation of project-related SOPs/guidelines as defined in the research project.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

  1. Graduation or Master's Degree
  2. One to two years of relevant experience
  3. Sensitivity to cultural differences
  4. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  5. Excellent team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Resilience and ability to cope with work pressure
  7. Willingness to work in various communities.
