About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Travel Sales Consultant to contribute to our growing team. As a key point of contact for our clients, you will play a crucial role in designing memorable travel experiences by providing expert advice, tailored packages, and seamless booking services.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will consult with clients to understand their travel preferences, budget, and requirements, ensuring a personalized approach to each booking.
  • You will plan, prepare, and book comprehensive travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, transport, and tours, using your expertise to deliver exceptional value to our clients.
  • Utilizing Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Galileo and Sabre, you will efficiently make reservations and perform fare calculations.
  • You will promote and upsell travel packages, upgrades, and additional services, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Maintaining accurate records of bookings, payments, and client profiles using CRM, you will ensure seamless communication and follow-up throughout the customer journey.
  • You will provide top-notch customer service before, during, and after travel, delivering an outstanding experience that exceeds client expectations.
  • In the event of any issues, you will efficiently resolve client concerns and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • To stay up-to-date, you will continually update your knowledge of travel regulations, visa requirements, and destination information.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • You should be proficient in Global Distribution Systems (GDS) — specifically Galileo and Sabre.
  • A strong foundation in communication is essential for success in this role.
  • Previous sales or customer service experience in travel or a related field is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets is crucial for this position.
  • A passionate and proactive attitude, combined with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional travel experiences, is essential.
