Job Title: Senior Legal Advisor

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned lawyer to join our team as a Senior Legal Advisor. This is a senior advisory position that will involve working closely with various stakeholders to deliver strategic legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a comprehensive view of risks across businesses and provide expert legal counsel on critical matters.
  • Participate in negotiations and contract drafting, ensuring timely delivery and compliance.
  • Promote preventive law programs and contribute to functional and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Oversee the effective use of legal support platforms and lead end-to-end processes for contract creation, review, and compliance tracking.
  • Design and deliver training sessions on key legal topics to enhance organizational legal literacy.
  • Assist in monitoring and following up on litigation matters and provide strategic input.

Requirements:

  • A strong academic foundation in legal principles and practice, preferably with an LLB from a recognized institution.
  • At least 5-8 years of relevant organizational experience, particularly in contract management and legal advisory roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in key regulatory domains, including food laws, environmental laws, labor laws, and competition laws.
