Senior Engineer Job Description

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction and maintenance projects within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience. They should also possess excellent leadership skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Supervision: Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Job Estimates: Prepare detailed estimates for construction and repair projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor project budgets to ensure cost-effective execution and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Compliance & HSE: Ensure that all civil works adhere to company policies, health, safety, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that may impact project timelines or budgets.
  • Sustainability: Implement sustainable practices in all projects where possible.
  • AutoCAD Proficiency: Utilize AutoCAD 2D/3D features for drafting and reviewing floor plans, seating arrangements, and construction/maintenance plans.

Requirements:

  • Civil Engineering Graduate (or equivalent) with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D/3D features.
