Risk Management Specialist
This role involves overseeing the effectiveness of internal controls and ensuring they align with evolving business needs, regulatory requirements, and industry guidelines.
About This Role- Develop and maintain a risk management framework in line with international standards.
- Embed a risk culture through training, guidance notes, and business partnering.
- Conduct risk assessments at various levels and maintain an inventory of internal controls.
- Test internal controls periodically and report results to stakeholders.
- Prepare annual risk management plans and develop controls to mitigate risks.
- Monitor and report risks on a regular basis.
- Manage the risk register, including risk owners, treatment plans, timelines, and residual risk ratings.
- Collaborate with departments to provide risk management process understanding and internal controls implementation guidelines.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of risk management actions provided by concerned risk owners.
- Ensure effective execution of risk management processes.
Education: CA, CIA, ACCA, ACMA. Risk-related certifications are highly valued.
Work Experience: At least 8-10 years of total experience, with 5-6 years in risk management and internal controls. Telecommunication industry experience is preferred.
