Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

About the Role:

• This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for leading our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between production, marketing, and logistics.">
• You will be accountable for planning and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels, minimize lead times, and reduce costs associated with raw materials and services.">
• Your primary goal will be to drive continuous improvement in on-time/on-quantity delivery performance, minimizing inventory losses and ensuring timely reconciliation of inventory records.">
• You will also be responsible for managing logistics budgets, overseeing warehouse operations, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and trained staff are in place.">
• A key aspect of this role is maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, providing regular communication and education to promote safe work practices among team members.">

Key Responsibilities:

2. Production Planning: Develop and implement plans for production and material management, including purchasing, scheduling, and inventory control.">
3. Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels for various chemicals, packing materials, and raw materials, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely reconciliation of records.">
4. Daily Operational Management: Oversee the smooth flow of goods to and from the warehouse, coordinating with store, marketing, and quality departments as needed.">
5. Procedure and Process Development/Implementation: Identify, develop, and implement procedures to ensure efficient fleet and carrier activities, meeting carrier level of service requirements.">
6. Procurement: Develop and operate a procurement function that provides cost-effective purchasing services, exploring new suppliers for high-quality products and services.">
7. Warehousing: Maintain and efficiently oversee warehousing facilities, ensuring storage of shipments and company assets is secure and well-managed.">
8. Safety and Accident Prevention: Establish and maintain a safe work environment, promoting safety awareness among team members through education and reinforcement of safe work practices.">
9. Facility Management: Coordinate with finance to prepare annual budgets, material consumption reports, and average cost prices of finished goods.">
10. ISO 9000 Quality Management System: Implement and manage the ISO 9000 quality management system, incorporating statistical techniques to drive quality improvement.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.">
• Strong leadership and strategic planning skills, with the ability to drive change and improve processes.">

• Familiarity with ISO 9000 quality management systems and statistical techniques.">

• Certifications in supply chain management, Six Sigma, or related fields are an asset.">
