Staff Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, with experience in general ledger accounting and inter-company transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
  • Prepare and post reclassification, prepaid, accruals, and other general ledger entries in Oracle NetSuite.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and perform income statement analytic procedures.
  • Track and review CAM and Tax reconciliations.
  • Reconcile monthly inter-company accounts with subsidiaries and perform necessary follow-up.
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain proper work-paper supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to drive the completion of the monthly accounting close timely and efficiently.
  • Accounts receivable cash postings and reconciliations.
  • Lease accounting and ASC 842 lease accounting adoption.
  • Fixed asset accounting.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
  • 1-2 years of General Ledger accounting experience, with inter-company transactions.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer accounting software.
Preferred Education:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting and finance.
Work Arrangement:
  • Monday - Friday.
  • 6 pm – 3 am PKT (Night shift).
Gross Salary Information:
  • Estimated annual minimum salary: 507,200 PKR.
  • Estimated annual maximum salary: 607,440 PKR.
  • Currency: PKR.
