Financial Management Professional

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial services group, including accounting, treasury, and audit functions. This involves providing guidance on corporate matters, preparing the annual plan, and assisting in budgeting and planning for development funds.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overall guidance to Financial Services Functions (Accounts & Finance), including accounting, treasury, audit, taxation, insurance, special programs.
  • Corporate and legal matters of TUSDEC as its Secretary
  • Preparation of the annual plan of TUSDEC, including the budget
  • To assist in Budgeting/Planning/Implementation of development funds for technology upgradation and skill development centers
  • Responsible for providing access to financing and maintain relationship with international and national financial institutions, including donor agencies, banks, DFIs, etc.
  • Financial analysis and advice to assess the viability of programs, studies, and projects undertaken by TUSDEC
  • Enrichment, training, and development of the Group team
  • Liaison with the federal Government for funding, related activities, and approvals
  • Developing a culture of good governance, conscientious business practices, and financial responsibility within TUSDEC
