About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity to kick-start your career in tech sales. As a Trainee Sales Development Representative, you will have the chance to develop skills in lead generation, research, and outreach while working closely with the sales team.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients using various tools such as LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Apollo, and ZoomInfo.
- Create and maintain a database of prospective clients based on target industries, buyer personas, and geographic locations.
- Gather contact information, business insights, and trigger events for outreach through advanced internet research techniques.
- Initiate outbound communication via email and LinkedIn to introduce the company's tech solutions.
- Craft personalized outreach messages tailored to each prospect based on their business needs and industry trends.
- Consistently follow up to nurture cold and warm leads and move them through the sales funnel.
- Qualify leads based on budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) through discovery calls.
- Clearly communicate the value proposition of our products/services in a professional and persuasive manner.
- Maintain detailed records of interactions in the CRM system.
- Track response rates, call volumes, meeting set rates, and other KPIs daily.
- Ensure data cleanliness, accuracy, and alignment with sales and marketing campaigns.
Requirements
- A recent graduate in Business, Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-6 months of BPO experience in customer service, tech support, or outbound sales.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong online research and information verification skills.
- A goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to build a career in tech sales.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, or email outreach platforms is highly valued.
- A high level of self-motivation, discipline, and a willingness to learn.
