Seeking a visionary leader to head our Compute Cloud Services team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a highly-collaborative engineering team, developing and shepherding complex cloud engineering projects, and introducing and improving processes for team performance and quality-of-life. They will collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to design idiomatic, feature-rich, and operationally sustainable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Grow and lead a highly-collaborative engineering team.
  • Develop and shepherd complex cloud engineering projects.
  • Help the team achieve higher standards of performance and product quality.
  • Introduce and improve processes for team performance and quality-of-life.
  • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to design software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or network engineering, with 2+ years in a people management or team lead role. They should have a passion for leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers, as well as expertise in cloud computing platforms, programming languages commonly used in cloud development, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.

Key Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or network engineering.
  • 2+ years in a people management or team lead role.
  • Passion for leading, coaching, and mentoring software engineers.
  • Expertise in cloud computing platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in cloud development.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools.
