We are looking for a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Assistant Professor in Environmental Sciences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and experience in teaching and research.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Taught Courses: Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses related to environmental sciences, focusing on laboratory-based learning. Topics may include environmental chemistry, ecology, microbiology, pollution monitoring, and environmental analysis techniques.
  • Conducted Research: Conducted original research projects, including investigating environmental phenomena, developing new analytical methods, or assessing the impacts of pollutants on ecosystems.
  • Mentored Students: Mentored graduate and undergraduate students in their academic and research pursuits, advising them on coursework, research projects, and career paths.
  • Solicited Grants: Solicited external funding to support research endeavors by writing grant proposals to government agencies, private foundations, or industry partners.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Teaching Experience: 3-5 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
  • Publishing History: A publications history in international journals relevant to social development studies.
  • Interdisciplinary Approach: A commitment to interdisciplinarity and maintaining collegial working environments.
