Procurement Expert

The ideal candidate will lead our organization's procurement efforts under the direction of the CEO, driving operational efficiency and economy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with purchasing representatives to achieve cooperative buying and savings.
  • Conduct market research and evaluations to inform commodity standardization and Qualified Products List additions.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial and administrative reports, ensuring timely delivery and high quality.
  • Establish priorities, assign workloads, and review complex assignments, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Interpret contract provisions and review contracts for accuracy before renewal.
  • Act as a liaison between vendors, contractors, and company officials, fostering collaboration and effective communication.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in MS-Office
  • Review purchase requisitions for proper authorization.
  • Identify potential suppliers and issue requests for quotations.
  • Analyze and select suppliers, issue purchase orders, and follow up as necessary.
  • Monitor storeroom stocks and initiate orders within established guidelines.
  • Assist in market trend studies.
