Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Systems Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring that our quality management systems adhere to ISO 9001 standards and company policies.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Quality Management System Compliance: Ensure quality management systems adhere to ISO 9001 standards, facility regulations, and legislation.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize testing processes for efficiency, standardization, coordination, and integration.
  • Quality System Development: Develop and manage quality systems that meet industry benchmarks and promote Total Quality Management.
  • Surveillance Audits: Organize surveillance audits and collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough understanding and effective implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Laboratory Management: Manage in-house laboratories, conduct testing, and ensure compliance with EPA regulations as per ISO 14000:2004 and 18001:2007.
  • Standards and Procedures: Establish and enforce standards, methods, and procedures for product inspection, testing, and evaluation.
  • Licensing and Certification: Liaise with relevant authorities for product licensing and certification.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher.
  2. Skills and Experience: Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE). Lead auditor experience and minimum three years' experience working with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 certified companies.
  3. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
  4. Personal Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
