Main Responsibilities- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide quality nursing care.
- Identify, prevent, and report risks to ensure patient safety and security.
- Create a conducive environment that promotes positive patient experiences.
- Record all nursing interventions accurately and comprehensively.
- Participate in creating a learning environment that enhances staff competence.
- Maintain accurate stock and equipment records.
Essential Education: Enrolled Nurse Certificate.
Desired Education: CPD courses in specific specialty areas enhance professional growth.
Preferred ExperienceNone required. However, 1 year post-qualification experience may be beneficial for placement in specialized units.
Key Skills and Knowledge- BLS trained to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Infection prevention and control measures to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
- Pharmacology knowledge to administer medications safely and effectively.
- Nursing principles and processes to provide evidence-based care.
- Patient assessment skills to identify needs and develop effective care plans.
- Nursing processes and procedures to deliver high-quality care.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office skills for efficient documentation and communication.
- Relevant nursing legislation to adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Care plan development skills to create individualized plans.
- Risk identification to anticipate and mitigate potential hazards.
