Empowering innovation and driving growth requires meticulous attention to financial detail. As a Financial Data Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.

Entity Accounting Leader Role

This position involves performing Entity Accounting Leader (EAL) duties for various entities. As EAL, you will be responsible for overall data integrity of financial statements both for US GAAP close and local GAAP requirements, account reconciliation, and other related duties.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Financial Statement Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements by defining accounting procedures in compliance with local policies, running SAP reports, performing account reconciliations, analyzing trends, and identifying discrepancies between US GAAP and local books.
  • Account Reconciliations: Perform and review account reconciliations of accounts under ownership, and request additional information from other finance departments as needed.
  • External Filings: Act as the focal point for external financial and statutory filings necessary to meet internal auditing and governmental requirements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local accounting principles and laws.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors, ensure timely provision of required information, participate in review meetings, and address audit comments.
  • Income Statement Forecast: Produce the Income Statement Forecast (ISF) at a legal entity level by coordinating efforts of different processes and businesses required to meet ISF requirements.
  • Consulting and Coordination: Act as consultant to Area sub-process Controllers and other finance processes in the region on financial accounting and internal control matters, and coordinate completion of regional year-end schedule packages for Corporate Controllers.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Coordinate financial and statutory requirements related to SOX rules and Internal Control self-assessments, prepare quarterly reporting of foreign debt, and coordinate statutory presentations and responses to regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify root causes of issues, discover and implement practical solutions, propose new ideas to improve existing work processes, and drive change to reduce complexity.
Educational Qualifications:

CA or semi-qualified CA with experience; additional qualifications are an added advantage.

Work Experience:

3-5 years' experience for a qualified CA; 5-7 years of experience for a semi-qualified CA.
