Role Summary

The Maintenance Technician I/II is a key position responsible for ensuring high equipment availability and reliability at Technical Services. This involves carrying out servicing, inspection, repair, and maintenance of vehicles and equipment to prevent downtime.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine checks on various equipment to identify potential issues before they occur.
  • Perform tasks as assigned by the Supervisor, prioritizing efficiency and effectiveness in all activities.
  • Learn operational checks and tasks on various equipment for preventive maintenance (PM) purposes.
  • Input spare parts requirements into the Workshop Parts Request online form to ensure timely procurement.
  • Ensure that all spare parts replacements are authorized to maintain cost control and minimize waste.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate good work practices to junior technicians, promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Follow safety policies, practices, and administrative procedures to ensure compliance and enforcement.
  • Record detailed completed tasks into SAP in an organized and timely manner to facilitate decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC in Motor Vehicle, Mechatronics, or Diesel Mechanics.
  • Preferably with relevant experience and knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, & Pneumatic systems.
  • Possess a minimum LTA Class 3 driving license or higher to enable safe transportation of personnel and equipment.
