Pharmacy Manager Job Opportunity

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee and optimize daily pharmacy operations for smooth workflow and high service delivery standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and organizational policies
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance initiatives for medication management processes
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to pharmacy staff on safe and effective medication use
  • Identify and address medication-related issues, implementing solutions for improved patient outcomes
  • Lead new business initiatives related to pharmacy services, including technology integration and service models
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategies for expanding service offerings and improving operational efficiency
  • Manage medication management technologies (e.g., electronic health records EHR)
  • Mentor and support pharmacy team members, fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration
Requirements
  • PharmD/Bachelor in Pharmacy; relevant Master Degree in Pharmacy or advanced training preferred
  • Registered with pharmacy council Pakistan
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in hospital pharmacy, including 3 years in managerial capacity
  • Strong communication skills and ability to conceive 'out of the box' solutions for medication management
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management and drug distribution systems in a tertiary care setting
  • Proficiency in healthcare informatics and ERP systems, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
