Product Vision and Strategy Lead

The role of a Product Owner plays a pivotal part in the product lifecycle, encompassing planning and execution. This involves gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, defining product vision, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define product vision and roadmap through input from cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Break down product vision into actionable epics, features, and user stories with clear definitions of done, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Prioritize these elements based on business impact and goals, making informed decisions that drive growth.
  • Support customers and prospects by prioritizing defects or new features, collaborating with Customer Success, Marketing, and Sales teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Work closely with Engineering to estimate task complexity, ensuring accurate resource allocation.
  • Track progress and provide visibility into team efforts, fostering transparency and accountability.
  • Organize reviews and conduct User Acceptance Testing, verifying product quality and usability.
  • Communicate new features and improvements to both business and technical audiences, driving adoption and engagement.
  • Demonstrate and promote product features to Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams, generating interest and excitement.
  • Lead Product Analysts by setting standards, processes, and procedures, promoting best practices and innovation.
  • Facilitate SCRUM ceremonies including Planning, Daily SCRUM, Review, and Retrospective, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of business and technical aspects of the product, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Exceptional decision-making, prioritization, and negotiation skills, driving successful outcomes.
  • Proven planning and forecasting capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Technical and analytical skills, facilitating effective collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong comprehension, enabling clear articulation of product vision and strategy.
  • Proven leadership with ability to motivate and inspire teams, driving high performance and engagement.
  • Experience as a Project Manager or Product Owner, demonstrating expertise and success in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar ALM tools, streamlining workflow and improving efficiency.
  • Strong collaboration and team-working skills, fostering a culture of open communication and mutual respect.
  • Experience working within SCRUM or other Agile methodologies, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence change and lead by example, driving innovation and growth.
