Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of preparing and submitting competitive bids, RFPs, and tenders, with strong knowledge of the translation/localization industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diligently identify and track international bid and tender opportunities in translation and localization.
  • Prepare, write, and submit high-quality proposals that ensure compliance with client requirements and maximize chances of success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather technical and commercial inputs, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Maintain a repository of standard proposal content, case studies, and templates to facilitate efficient proposal development.
  • Effectively manage bid timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met and minimizing potential risks.
  • Present cost estimates and pricing models aligned with company policies and industry standards.
  • Ensure proposals highlight competitive advantages and value propositions that resonate with clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers, agencies, and global clients through effective communication and negotiation skills.
Requirements
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in bid/proposal management or tender submissions for international projects, preferably in the translation/localization industry.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills to effectively convey complex ideas and negotiate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under strict deadlines, prioritizing tasks and meeting objectives.
  • Familiarity with international procurement platforms, including UNGM, EU tenders, World Bank, NGO portals, and government e-tenders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with experience in CRM/TMS tools being a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Languages, or related field, with a Master's degree being preferred.
