Finance Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced finance consultant to join our team. As a finance consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing client requirements, developing solution designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring quality assurance, and providing post-go-live support.

  • Assess business requirements to identify client needs and challenges
  • Develop comprehensive solution designs that outline features, functionality, and integration points
  • Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, project managers, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation
  • Thoroughly test configured solutions to meet quality standards and best practices
  • Support clients post-go-live with bug fixes, maintenance, and updates
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field
  • At least two successful implementations of Microsoft Dynamics ERP (Dynamics AX 2012 or Dynamics 365 F&O)
  • 10+ years of experience in core finance and accounting modules – Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, General ledger, Fixed assets, Cash & bank management, Budgeting, Expense management, and financial reporting
  • Preferred CPA training or certification
  • Strong communication, organizational, and client interaction skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with larger teams throughout an enterprise transformation
  • High degree of initiative and personal responsibility
  • Willingness and ability to work global delivery teams across time zones
