Job Summary

The role of an IT Technical Specialist involves driving technological innovation and advancement within the organization. This position provides continuous support and enhancement for essential IT systems and their underlying infrastructure in a primarily Sage ERP-based environment.

This individual will deliver initial and secondary support to approximately 200 users across multiple legal entities, addressing IT incidents through the help desk. They may also collaborate with project teams as needed, leveraging their technical expertise to aid in project planning, execution, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Maintenance: Manage system updates, coordinate testing and production readiness of data supporting batch records creation and maintenance.
  • User Support: Deliver continuous support to users in an environment based on Sage ERP, Payroll, Upflow, Certify, Salesforce, and various other systems.
  • System Assessment and Upgrade: Collaborate with internal teams to assess maintenance updates and upgrades to systems and participate in all testing and release to production of these changes.
  • System Delivery and Development: Responsible for system management and delivery to assess new system capabilities.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create, release, and modify reporting suites using Crystal Reports and Business Intelligence.

Requirements:

  • Education: A minimum Bachelors degree in Computer Science is preferred.
  • Certifications: Sage Certification or Microsoft Certification would be beneficial.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with development/integration of ERP systems and customized applications, SQL Server, Query Writing, Python and .Net development, Microsoft Development Platform, Crystal Reports, VBA macros, and knowledge of ERP and other systems.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, good communication and interpersonal skills.
