We are seeking a results-driven individual to lead client acquisition and project onboarding from platforms like Upwork and other freelance or direct sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and similar platforms, ensuring alignment with company strengths and strategic goals.
  • Craft compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs, demonstrating clear value propositions.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform outreach strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal technical teams to scope project feasibility, prepare accurate cost estimates, and ensure smooth handover post-contract.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly lead-generation and conversion targets through consistent performance and strategic follow-up.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity in CRM tools, providing timely and accurate reporting to management.
  • Optimize company profiles on Upwork and other platforms to increase visibility, trust, and inbound inquiries.
  • Represent the company professionally in virtual meetings, negotiations, and all client communications.
  • Explore upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize client value and revenue potential.
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience in business development, preferably within the IT, SaaS, or digital services space.
  • Hands-on experience with freelancing and service marketplaces such as Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital services (web development, SEO, design, UI/UX).
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Existing client base or network in digital services. Proficiency with CRM and project management tools like Trello or Asana.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and proposal writing best practices.
