Job Role: Pharmacy Manager

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing retail or pharmacy teams and be able to drive sales growth while maintaining excellent customer service.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service with complaint handling, ensuring that customers receive a high-quality experience.
  • Achieve sales targets for designated pharmacy by effectively managing stock displays, implementing First-In-First-Out (FIFO) inventory management, and promoting new stock in respective racks.
  • Maintain proper stock displays and FIFO inventory management to minimize stock loss and maximize sales.
  • Conduct random audits as per agreed plan to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Cash handover audit and consumer items audit at shift handover to maintain accurate records.
  • Perform shift-wise cash closing and handing over to ensure seamless operations.
  • Control store stock loss within agreed targets by implementing effective inventory management practices.
  • Settle till cash and sales cash into banks (shift packs) to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Take action to address underperforming staff members and provide coaching, challenging, and supporting employees to improve their performance.
  • Highlight top-selling products and new collections prominently in-store to drive sales growth.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and verification of items before customer handover to maintain high-quality service.
  • Stock, dust, and rack set to maintain a well-presented store environment.
  • Supervise shift staff and work as a team player to achieve common goals.
  • Record near-expiry products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to minimize waste.
  • Verify stocks received to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle returns (within 7 days) and enter data into the system from the branch manager's login to maintain efficient operations.
  • Provide staff training on job descriptions and counter efficiency to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Cross-verify expiry dates to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain employee duty rosters to schedule staff effectively.
  • Work on pharmacy layout and display to create an engaging shopping experience.
  • Familiarize oneself with company software (Candela) to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Perform data sinking activities to maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain Schedule E and Schedule D to ensure compliance with company standards.
