Our team is seeking an experienced and ambitious leader to manage our Engineering team and define a technology vision for building new product features for fleet & driver safety.

The successful candidate will have expertise in software engineering, experience managing high-throughput systems, and a proven track record of hiring, managing, and developing diverse teams of engineers.

About the RoleKey Responsibilities
  • Technology Vision: Define and implement a technology vision for building new product features.
  • Product Management: Manage product and business outcomes of the engineering teams.
  • Long-term Roadmap: Develop a long-term product roadmap in collaboration with product teams.
  • Technical Design: Lead technical design discussions with multiple teams.
  • Execution: Drive execution, launch, and daily operations of functionalities at consistently high quality.
  • Team Management: Hire, manage, and develop a diverse team of highly qualified engineers.
RequirementsQualifications
  • Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering or related domains.
  • System Knowledge: Experience working in high-throughput and low-latency systems.
  • Management: 3+ years of experience managing 10+ engineers.
  • Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience in building high-scale distributed systems for a product company.
  • Depth and Breadth: Technical depth and breadth in areas such as agile product development, distributed systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, build tools, front-end engineering, mobile, QA.
