Job Title:
Software Engineer with Scalable Web Applications Experience

Description:

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design and develop scalable enterprise web applications using Javascript, Typescript and React framework. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing complex back-end/front-end applications, associated integrations, and required test harnesses independently.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing UI components for JavaScript-based web applications and mobile applications with the use of open-source library infrastructure.

They will also be responsible for building and deploying highly scalable REST/GraphQL APIs with deep understanding of React, Node JS, Webpack and other tools related to React Front End Development.

The role requires strong expertise in working with Node JS, Webpack and other tools related to React Front End Development, as well as experience in integrating REST and GraphQL APIs.

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant industry experience, extensive knowledge and solid work experience with Javascript, Typescript and React framework, Strong real time hands-on experience in developing React JS based applications with Redux.

Other key responsibilities include collaborating across the enterprise to define standards for application architectures and best practices, Developing, creating, and modifying software to build observable fault-tolerant systems and services, Writing complex reliable, testable, and maintainable code.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • OR 5+ years of IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of any combination of academic or work experience with Full-stack Application Development
  • 1+ year of any combination of academic or work experience with Data Structures, algorithms, and data stores

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Cloud Platforms
  • Experience in unit testing code with JEST / enzyme / Jasmine / Mocha / Chai is desired
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Should have experience in version control system like GIT

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Information Technology.
