Job Opportunity: ABA Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will play a vital role in implementing evidence-based interventions and providing high-quality care to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement evidence-based interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

  • Collect and record accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions.

  • Assist in the development and updating of behavior intervention plans (BIPs).

  • Foster a positive learning environment to promote client engagement and learning.

  • Teach and reinforce communication, social, and functional life skills.

  • Conduct therapy sessions in various environments, including home, school, and community settings.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Participate in regular team meetings, training, and supervision sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred.

  • RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.

  • Experience working with individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities is an asset.

  • Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills are essential.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team is crucial.

  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if sessions are conducted in multiple locations) are required.
