Job Title: Accounting Operations

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage PEC activities, ensure statutory financial statements are prepared and reported in accordance with relevant accounting standards and local laws, coordinate with external auditors for half yearly review and full year audit, present financial updates to the Board Audit Committee on a quarterly basis, and ensure balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and clearing of open line items.

About You:

You will have a degree in Business, Finance and/or Accounting, ACA, ACCA or Degree in related field. At least 6-7 years post-qualification experience with articleship in a reputable firm preferably in an accounting and reporting role is required. Strong knowledge of FICO SAP Modules, MS Office, IAS, IFRS, Companies Act, Code of Corporate Governance, and Period End Close (PEC) Activities is necessary. Ability to manage relationships effectively and good interpersonal skills & proficiency in English language is also required.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage PEC activities with accuracy and do the necessary group reporting with first time accuracy within the stipulated timelines.
  • Ensure statutory financial statements are prepared and reported in accordance with relevant accounting standards and local laws.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for half yearly review and full year audit.
  • Presentation of financial updates to the Board Audit Committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Custodian of Nestlé Accounting Standards ensuring its compliance in the Company's accounting and reporting practices.
  • Balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations and clearing of open line items.
  • Collaboration with shared services team to ensure quality service delivery in accordance with Service Level Agreement.
