We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Ocean Freight Export LCL Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in the execution of export LCL shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of customer services, documentation, and operations teams to achieve operational efficiency.
  2. Manage and resolve internal and external departmental issues with clients, carriers, and co-loaders through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  3. Review and verify Bills of Lading (BLs) before issuing original BLs to guarantee accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  4. Sign original BLs for Ocean Freight Export LCL shipments after thorough review and verification.
  5. Follow up with carriers regarding payments and issues related to the release of Master Bills of Lading (MBLs) to maintain smooth logistics flow.
  6. Coordinate with carriers and agents regarding vessel arrivals and container release statuses to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
  7. Address and resolve customer and agent complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  8. Oversee ISF and AMS filings for USA and Canada shipments to ensure regulatory compliance.
  9. Handle FMC rate filings for USA shipments to ensure accurate and timely submission.
  10. Obtain FIATA, AVALON, and Bond certificates from relevant associations to enhance professional credentials.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in ocean freight export LCL operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Exceptional follow-up skills to ensure tasks and projects are completed in a timely manner.

  • FMC approved Dynamic Shipping B/L.
  • Custom Agents License.
  • Licensed Ship-Chartering & Ship-Handling, Licensed CHA.
  • Trade Mark Registration.
