LDP Logistics is looking out for an experienced International Freight Forwarder.

Position: Associate Freight Forwarding
Salary: 50,000
Job Type: Full-time (On Site)
Job Days: Mon-Fri
Location: Bahadurabad Karachi
Timings: 06 PM to 03 AM (Night Shift)
Benefits: Medical Insurance (IDP & OPD), Bonus, Paid Annual Leaves.

What we're looking for:

  • LDP Logistics is currently looking for candidates with around 06 months to 01 year of experience in the ocean freight/logistics import/export industry. (CY/CY, INTERMODAL, DRAYAGE, CY/DOOR)
  • Must have strong attention to detail, good time management, and strong communication skills with the ability to work as a team while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Freight Forwarder is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper and timely movement of international and/or domestic shipments.

About the Position

Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

  • Handles and owns the entire shipping process of assigned shipments.
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments on a daily basis.
  • Transfers information from email instructions and a variety of shipping documents into MS Excel spreadsheet, Company system, and cloud files.
  • Ensures precise and timely data management in the company's CRM systems.
  • Must have knowledge of clearing documentation, including AES, ISF, and Customs Entry.
  • Must be familiar with the fundamentals of shipping norms and processes, both domestic (USA) and international.
  • Maintains effective communication with customers, vendors and co-workers through a high volume of e-mails, phone calls, and verbal contact.
  • Prepares shipping documents before sending to customers.
  • Monitoring of reports on a daily basis.
  • Ensures accurate and timely billing to customers.
  • Meets key performance indicators to support the department, branch, product, and overall company goals.
  • Understands the operational process flow and constantly seeks improved ways for efficiency.
  • Protects confidential information of all customers and the Company.
