
Senior Project Director

A critical role for a seasoned project director to lead the strategic objectives of the PMO and implement various programs.
This position requires a strong leader who can oversee the organization's project portfolio, ensure effective prioritization and resource allocation, monitor project progress, budgets, risks and portfolio health, and provide regular updates to leadership on project status and outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have at least 15 years of IT experience, with experience in portfolio management, overseeing a wide variety of projects, and being PMP certified.
- Define Strategic Objectives: Define the strategic objectives of the PMO and implement various programs to meet the objectives.
- Develop Project Management Standards: Develop, own and ensure compliance with project management standards that are mutually aligned with industry best practices.
- Provide Project Management Tools: Provide project management tools and templates for use across the organization.
- Oversee Project Portfolio: Oversee the organization's project portfolio to ensure effective prioritization and resource allocation.
- Monitor Project Progress: Monitor project progress, budgets, risks and portfolio health.
- Provide Updates: Provide regular updates to leadership on project status and outcomes.
- Build Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and stakeholders.
- Communicate Effectively: Engage with senior stakeholders to understand priorities and communicate project status and outcomes.
- Lead and Mentor: Lead, mentor and develop the PMO team and project managers.
- Foster Accountability: Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Ensure Training Opportunities: Ensure adequate training and development opportunities for project management staff.
- Oversee Resource Planning: Oversee resource planning and allocation across projects to mitigate risks and optimize efficiency.

Requirements:
- Minimum 15 Years IT Experience: Min. 15 years of IT experience, with experience in portfolio management.
- Portfolio Management Experience: Experience in overseeing a wide variety of projects.
- PMP Certified: PMP certified.
- Strategic Mindset: Strategical mind set, experience in interacting with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record with hands-on experience to deliver positive outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Framework Establishment: Experience in the establishment of frameworks, processes, procedures for large organizations.
- Collaborative Leadership: Collaborative with a growth mindset.
- Analytical Skills: Analytical, critical thinking skills.
- Open-Mindedness: Open-minded and innovative in exploring new and alternative solutions to optimize process, arriving at sound decisions and solutions.
- Effective Communication: A strong leader who can communicate his/her ideas and views persuasively and sustain positive relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
- Finance Qualification: Finance qualification as well as PMP qualification are preferable.
- Cultural Awareness: Experience in working in the multinational environment to understand the diversity and cultural differences.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation skills to deliver messages to the audience both technical domain people and non-technical people.
