Job Title: Senior Technical Development Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking highly motivated technical professionals who have a knack for research and are passionate about developing solutions to complex and challenging problems. Our team specializes in integrated solutions that help industries control, improve, and optimize their manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze RFQs with respect to technical and commercial requirements. Propose Turn-Key solutions.
  • Evaluate compliance with policies and procedures relating to business conduct and meeting OEM ethical and legal standards.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Negotiate with vendors and OEMs to achieve optimal cost analysis.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and OEMs to enhance the supply chain.
  • Foster team development by grooming Subject Matter Specialists (SMEs) within the team and managing resources effectively.
  • Identify new business opportunities by adding new OEMs or solutions.
  • Prepare prequalification, tender documentation, method statements, and bids.
  • Develop compliances, system architecture/topology, project schedules, and provide technical and commercial pre-sales support to exceed strategic targets.
  • Work collaboratively with international teams to drive customer-centric solutions and manage day-to-day departmental matters.
  • Improve sales team effectiveness and add value by supporting international technical teams and developing integrated systems and tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics engineering.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in design and proposals.
  • Experience in designing and proposing solutions such as PLC/RTU/DCS/ESD/F&G, Electrical & Instrumentation, Digitalization, SCADA System, and Solar System.
  • Good oral and written English skills and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry standards.
