Job Title:

Credit Management Professional

Job Summary:

A Credit Management Professional is required to oversee the timely collection of outstanding debts and accurate bookkeeping for customers in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the credit control process to collect debts on time and maintain a healthy cash flow.
  • Monitor customer accounts, chase overdue invoices, and maintain accurate records of communication and payment activity.
  • Process payments and allocate against invoices, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Issue statements, credit notes, and reminders as needed to prevent debt escalation.
  • Handle and resolve customer queries professionally, providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform bookkeeping duties including posting sales invoices and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate customer billing and credits.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
