Key Responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Engineer

  • Lead, guide, and support the Software Quality Engineers to ensure proper execution of testing activities and adherence to project timelines.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Test Planning & Execution: Ensure comprehensive and well-structured test cases and test plans are prepared based on project requirements. Oversee and monitor the execution of all test cycles.
  • Quality Oversight: Review the work of testers to ensure completeness, correctness, and effectiveness of test coverage. Validate that testing thoroughly covers all use cases, edge cases, and business logic.
  • Continuous Quality Monitoring: Monitor testing progress, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and take corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards throughout the development cycle.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve QA practices, templates, and checklists to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability of testing activities.

  • Mid-Senior level experience in software quality assurance.
