Job Title: Carton Packaging Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Deliver Accurate Cost Estimates:
  • Develop and maintain detailed cost estimates for folding carton packaging projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Analyze Specifications and Requirements:
  • Carefully review and analyze customer drawings, production capabilities, and packaging specifications to inform estimation decisions.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams:
  • Work closely with sales, production, and design teams to determine job scope, manufacturing requirements, and optimize production processes.
  • Maintain Pricing Databases and Estimate Sheets:
  • Develop and update pricing databases and Excel-based estimate sheets to ensure accurate and up-to-date costing information.
  • Support Customer Inquiries and Job Costing Performance Analysis:
  • Provide technical and cost-related input to support customer inquiries and monitor job costing performance to refine future estimations.

 

  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience in Estimating Folding Carton Packaging Projects:
  • Proven experience in estimating folding carton packaging projects, with a focus on delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates.
  • Knowledge of Printing Processes:
  • Working knowledge of printing processes, including offset printing, color matching, and other relevant processes.
  • Microsoft Excel Expertise:
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Mathematical and Analytical Abilities:
  • Strong mathematical and analytical abilities to develop and analyze complex cost estimates.
  • Excellent Communication Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with customers.
