Seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead the development and implementation of DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Systems Administration, DevOps, and Network Administration.

The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of efficient and reliable systems, including Asterisk servers, VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, XenServer, Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, Ansible on Linux, Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, and scripting languages such as bash, python, and powershell.

A strong background in Linux/Unix and MS Windows Administration is required, with at least 4-6 years of hands-on experience. A Bachelors in Computer Science is preferred, with relevant certification also preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent debugging skills, be self-motivated, analytical, and have a problem-solving mindset. Strong oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective teamwork and training staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on Experience with Systems Administration, DevOps, and Network Administration
  • Management of Asterisk servers
  • Experience with VMWare ESXi, Hyper-V, XenServer
  • Scripting languages (bash, python, powershell)
  • Managing Puppet, Chef, CFEngine, Ansible on Linux
  • Managing Application Servers, Web Servers, and DB Servers (Tomcat, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Networking, firewall, and load balancing
  • Server / Network Monitoring and debugging tools like Zabbix
  • Experience with VoIP and IP-PBX systems
  • Performing / monitoring builds and deployments
  • Managing Git, Bitbucket
  • Managing Jira and Confluence
  • Managing Jenkins, Teamcity or other build automation tools
