Manufacturing Optimisation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Manufacturing Optimisation Engineer to join our team in Pakistan. This role involves installing, configuring, and supporting industrial IoT solutions for multiple clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Python, knowledge of C# or C/C++, and Linux operating system skills. They will also be familiar with Agile project delivery and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, and support of industrial IoT solutions.
  • Maintenance of IT and industrial IoT infrastructure.
  • Visit customer sites to troubleshoot issues, implement fixes, and coordinate with the product team.
  • Work with Sales to implement trials and site surveys to ensure technical solutions meet customers' needs.
  • Test hardware components, help customers validate device accuracy, and coordinate with Sales and Customer Success teams.
  • Collaborate with the product team to identify new technologies and build prototype or MVP solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with software development, preferably in an Agile environment.
  • Linux operating system skills and familiarity with embedded systems security mechanisms.
  • Strong debug problem-solving skills using latest tools and ability to understand complex issues.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in software development, networking protocols, and secure interfacing.
  • Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and experience working with head-end systems.
