We are seeking a senior professional to lead our climate resilience and adaptation efforts in Pakistan. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the country's ability to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change.

  1. Lead the development and implementation of strategies for climate resilience and adaptation across different government levels, ensuring effective integration with existing initiatives.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to programme teams, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing between stakeholders.
  3. Contribute to the design and delivery of training programmes, workshops, and other capacity-building activities, promoting evidence-based practices and best practices in climate resilience and adaptation.
  4. Collaborate with partners, including government agencies, civil society organizations, and private sector entities, to leverage resources, expertise, and influence.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in environmental science, international development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in climate resilience and adaptation, with a strong track record of achieving results in complex, dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in institutional strengthening, policy development, and programme management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Urdu or another local language an asset.
