Job Description

This role is part of the International Content Accounting team, responsible for accounting for content related to Turner operations in the APAC region.

Daily Activities:

  1. Perform various program accounting duties, including maintenance of content assets, prepayments and liabilities.
  2. Process contracts to ensure accurate assets, liabilities and expenses.
  3. Record journal entries to track and account for content production costs.
  4. Respond to vendor queries, investigating invoices and contractual arrangements as needed.
  5. Manage I/C transactions and reconciliations to reflect in consolidated financial statements.
  6. Prepare schedules for financial statement notes.
  7. Support internal/external audit processes by submitting necessary requests.
  8. Participate in ERP upgrade project, specifically in content asset management.
  9. Perform ad hoc assignments as required by management.

Month End Activities:

  1. Support month end close activities.
  2. Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations for content assets and liabilities, resolving any anomalies.
  3. Set up and maintain content projects (cost centres).
  4. Maintain high standards of accountability, delivering superior quality financial information on time.

Controls and Procedures:

  1. Develop and improve processes, controls and reporting.
  2. Support development of systems, tools and processes for efficient analysis.
  3. Ensure SOX compliance and documentation for International Content Accounting function, liaising with internal and external auditors.
  4. Document thorough controls and processes.
