Training Manager Position

The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programs focused on family planning services. They will oversee a team, ensuring high-quality training delivery aligned with national guidelines and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an annual training plan and strategy for training on family planning services.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Design, revise, and adapt training materials and curricula in line with national standards and global best practices.
  • Set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and support professional development for team members.
  • Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and delivery of training sessions.
  • Monitor training quality and provide coaching and support to trainers as needed.
  • Work with the M&E team to track training outputs, outcomes, and participant feedback.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in public health, Nursing, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training and capacity-building, with at least 2 years in family planning or reproductive health.
  • Proven experience managing a small team.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and participatory training methods.
  • Familiarity with national family planning policies, guidelines, and service delivery models.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and training management tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
  • Basic data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
