Job Description:

The Provincial Education Director will oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of education programs across Sindh. This senior-level position demands strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement education strategies to improve foundational learning and reduce dropout rates.
  • Lead program implementation, stakeholder engagement, and internal coordination to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with government departments, civil society organizations, donors, and global education networks to enhance the scope and sustainability of education initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with project teams, administrative staff, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and compliance with organizational standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • 8-10 years of experience in education management, preferably in the education or development sector.
  • Strong understanding of the education ecosystem, gender and equity issues, and policy landscape in Sindh.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu; proficiency in Sindhi is highly desirable.
