Role Summary

  • A Senior Backend Developer is required to lead backend service development with Node.js, ensuring scalability and performance in alignment with ambitious projects.
Job Description

Responsibilities include engaging in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and providing robust solutions. This involves implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes to streamline development and deployment workflows.

The successful candidate will apply the MVVM architectural pattern as appropriate, ensuring a clean separation of concerns and improved maintainability. They will also integrate various payment systems, mapping services, and authentication mechanisms, from Stripe and PayPal to Google Maps and Cognito authentication.

A significant portion of this role involves utilizing Amazon Web Services extensively to build scalable, resilient applications, tapping into services like Cognito, SnS, RDS, Amplify, Lambda, EC2, S3, and DynamoDB.

The ideal candidate should ensure applications are ready for deployment, with hands-on experience in deploying apps to the App Store and Google Play Store being essential. Furthermore, they must maintain tasks, timelines, and communication using Jira, ensuring a smooth and efficient development process.

Requirements

Key qualifications include at least 5 years of experience in backend development, with strong proficiency in Node.js. The ideal candidate should have experience with CI/CD practices, and a solid understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM.

Familiarity with deploying applications to the App Store and Google Play Store, as well as proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira, is essential. A comprehensive grasp of AWS services, problem-solving skills, and extensive knowledge of Git and Github (Version Control and Github Actions) are also required.

Additionally, the ideal candidate should be familiar with up-to-date policies of Play Store & App Store, and hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
