Business Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Support Assistant to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen and be able to minimize production costs through strategic planning and effective accounting practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage.
  • Plan and manage budgets for construction projects, including solar electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource allocation.
  • Perform comprehensive cost analysis and review purchase orders, invoices, and supplier contracts to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Prepare detailed financial and technical bids that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement health and safety documents that comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Estimate costs for civil and electrical projects based in the UK, taking into account factors such as material costs, labor expenses, and equipment rentals.
  • Draft high-quality construction drawings and bid reports that accurately reflect project requirements and timelines.
  • Design various types of construction projects, leveraging expertise in building information modeling (BIM) and other relevant technologies.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, excellent knowledge of construction costs and bidding procedures, and 1-5 years of experience in a similar role.

A reliable internet connection and electricity backup system are essential for remote work and meeting deadlines.

Technical Requirements:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, is required for data analysis, report writing, and communication.
