Responsibilities
  • Assist in overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and computer systems.
  • Monitor and manage server backups, disaster recovery plans, and data protection protocols.
  • Supervise and provide second-level technical support to IT staff and end-users.
  • Troubleshoot system errors, application bugs, network outages, and hardware failures.
  • Ensure system security and user access management in compliance with institutional policies.
  • Lead and guide IT support staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Conduct periodic training sessions for staff and faculty on new tools or policies.
  • Maintain documentation of IT procedures, asset inventory, and support logs.
  • Assist in planning and implementing IT projects such as campus automation, smart classrooms, and digital transformation.
  • Ensure timely execution of IT tasks during admissions, exams, and major university events.
  • Contribute to IT strategy development and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards, data privacy laws, and internal IT policies.
