The Grants and Partnerships Lead is a critical role within our organization, responsible for driving business development, grants management, and partnership portfolios. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Programs (DDP), this position requires strategic leadership to oversee program design, donor relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and periodic revision of the IRC Pakistan Resource Mobilization and Partnerships Strategy.
  • Business Development and Fundraising: Ensure proposal processes are well managed, funding diversification goals are met, and funding efforts are aligned with country program strategic priorities.
  • Awards Management and Donor Compliance: Lead post-award processes, including contract reviews, amendments, and donor negotiations.
  • Partnerships Leadership: Coordinate partner selection processes, facilitate capacity-strengthening initiatives for local partners, and foster strong partnerships with NGOs, civil society actors, government institutions, and the private sector.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in leading business development units in an international NGO.
  • Excellent understanding of contracts/agreements, contract/governance, contractual language, and the contract lifecycle.

  • Superior writing and language skills.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
