Job Overview

This Compliance Officer position plays a pivotal role in ensuring business operations align with relevant laws, regulations, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design, implementation, and management of IT controls & compliance frameworks for an international organization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry-best security practices within SaaS environments.
  • Manage customer and third-party attestations as part of contractual obligations.
  • Conduct third-party risk assessments and regular assurance programs.
  • Prior experience working with GRC tools and platforms is essential.
  • Ability to translate laws, regulations, and technical requirements into commercial business processes.
  • Execute and report on Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Program metrics.
  • Maintain policies and procedures as part of the Policy Governance Framework.
Business and Industry Knowledge
  • Integrate in an Agile/Scrum environment to drive teams forward.
  • Knowledge of multiple security frameworks, third-party risk, outsourcing, and banking regulations.
  • Secure-SDLC tooling and modern cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) are also required.
  • Familiarity with Open Banking / PSD2 is an added advantage.
  • Expertise in ethics & compliance programs in international business is necessary.
Complexity and Problem Solving
  • Lead tactical compliance setup and operations effectively.
  • Provide concise and accurate compliance advice as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Proactive and analytical program management approach is required.
  • Strategic problem solver who can find practical business solutions.
Collaboration and Interaction
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from all relevant departments, vendors, partners, and customers.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6-8 years of relevant working experience in international compliance programs.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT Security, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or Information Security is required.
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. ISC2 or CompTIA) are desired or willingness to obtain them.
  • Experience with managing in a functional way is necessary.
  • Ability to work with the latest tech stack, including Azure Services, Grafana, Elastic Cloud, Open Source tooling, Dependency Track, and Trivy.
