We are seeking a seasoned Financial Strategist to lead our financial operations in Karachi. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage our financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
  • Monitor cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including tax reporting and audit requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
  • Act as the primary contact for external auditors and regulatory agencies.

Strategic Planning:

  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Evaluate and improve financial performance, cost management, and operational efficiencies.
  • Participate in long-term financial planning and goal setting.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and finance staff, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for team members.

System Optimization:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems.
  • Ensure the integration of data across departments for efficient reporting and operations.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation preferred.
  • No less than 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
